A todo ello, se añade la deliciosa gastronomía local que se puede degustar en las diversas etapas del recorrido, lo que acaba de completar todos los ingredientes que se necesitan para tener una experiencia única.
De este modo, al llegar a la última jornada, que habitualmente arranca desde A Rúa, se tiene la sensación de que el Camino se ha hecho muy corto. Antes de completarlo se visita el Monte do Gozo, de parada obligada para contemplar la Catedral de Santiago en todo su esplendor.
