En este país la propina no es obligatoria, pero, si te sientes agradecido con un servicio prestado lo recomendable es dejar entre el 5% y el 10% de lo que hemos gastado.
Eso sí, si algún local griego te ayuda y te hace algún favor no se te ocurra ofrecerle una propina, ya que puede resultar ofensivo.
¿Cuánto hay que dar de propina en los restaurantes en Grecia?
La propina en Grecia no es obligatoria, como ya comentamos antes, pero, a pesar de ello, muchos restaurantes deciden incluir en la factura un porcentaje de entre el 5% y el 10% de propina. Así que revísalo bien porque en muchas ocasiones las personas dejan un porcentaje de propina extra además de haber pagado ya ese porcentaje y eso solo debería darse si se ha recibido un servicio de excelente calidad en el restaurante.
Así, si ya el restaurante está cobrando propina, claramente no estamos obligados a dejar dinero extra.
Propina en excursiones o tours por Grecia
Para muchos de los guías turísticos la propina es un gran complemento a su sueldo e incluso su sueldo en el caso de los free tours.
¿Cuánto deberíamos dejar de propina en este tipo de servicios? Todo depende del precio del tour, de la dificultad del mismo y del servicio recibido por los guías. Por ejemplo, si nos han ayudado durante la excursión, nos han hablado y contado mucho sobre lo que estamos viendo y además, la dificultad del tour es media/alta, merecen al menos un 10% de lo que hemos pagado por el servicio. Si es un free tour, que menos que dejar una propina de 12-15€.
Propinas en los hoteles de Grecia
Una propina bastante adecuada para el personal de limpieza es de 1-2€ por noche, e igual para los empleados que llevan las maletas en un hotel, aunque en este caso solo cuando las trasladen.
El personal de recepción también puede recibir propinas en caso de ayudarnos con algún problema o si tienen un excelente trato con nosotros.
